Helena Dimiropoulou
was born in Thessaloniki. She has studied graphic arts and illustration at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Modernes in Paris. The next years she has worked in New York and Athens. In 1992 she moved to Thessaloniki where she was a founding member of Amalgama: Artists' Initiative, an artists' space and gallery, and she has worked as a graphic designer (Red Creative) until 2000. She is a member of the Visual Artists Association of Northern Greece. Along to painting she creates constructions with papier mache.
